Mr. G. G. Dalmia, Chairman of the Group, is a seasoned industrialist with degrees in Commerce and Law from Calcutta University. A pioneer in India’s business landscape, he has attended several management and development programs and continues to guide the Group with wisdom and foresight. Under his leadership, the MLD Group has become synonymous with quality, reliability, and trust across multiple industries. His global perspective has opened new markets for the Group, and he currently serves as the Honorary Consul of Mongolia in East India.

Mr. Manish Dalmia, President – Strategy & Finance, holds an MBA from Babson College, USA, and is a graduate of the Owner/President Management (OPM) Program at Harvard Business School (2022). He has over a decade of experience across tea, jute, industrial packaging, petrochemicals, and technology. Manish plays a key role in steering the Group’s strategic vision and financial growth. He currently serves as a Board Member of YPO South Asia, Co-Chairperson of the Harvard Alumni Entrepreneurs India Chapter, and Chairman of ASSOCHAM’s Tea Sector Council, Eastern Region. His leadership reflects a blend of entrepreneurial drive and a strong commitment to sustainability and industry development.

Mr. Vijay Dalmia, Managing Director – Technical & Operations, is a Chemical Engineer and MBA from the Indian School of Business (ISB). He completed a term at the Kellogg School of Management, USA under a full scholarship and earned his Ph.D. in Business Management from ISB in 2023, with a focus on succession in family businesses. With groundbreaking research in instant tea and caffeine extraction, Vijay brings deep technical knowledge and innovation to the Group’s operations. He oversees production and quality across all facilities and is a board membe of IFTEX (Indian Federation of Woven Technical Textiles) he also a member of YPO Blue Ocean, a global network of young business leaders.
